How it will happen
Your adventure begins in Canmore, where you'll meet your guide and team. Here, you'll receive a briefing on the day's plan and collect your caving equipment. Following your guide in a convoy of your own vehicles, you'll embark on a short 10-minute drive to the cave parking lot. From there, you'll gear up and embark on a 30-minute hike along a mountain trail leading to the cave entrance. As you trek, your guide will regale you with fascinating tales of the area's history, including insights into cave formation, the region's geological past, and the opportunity to examine local fossils. Keep a keen eye out for wildlife such as bighorn sheep and, if you're lucky, signs of bears or cougars. Once inside the cave, you'll embark on a thrilling journey. Your adventure includes an 18-meter rappel using a secure rope with a safety line backup. From there, you'll climb, crawl, wiggle, and slide your way through water-carved passages, exploring fascinating cave features.

Bring good footwear, warm clothing, a water bottle and a durable snack to keep your energy up in the cave
Footwear must be closed-toe and should have a sturdy tread
The cave is 5 degrees celsius, so warm clothing is recommended
